Overnight Newborn Care Specialist – Bel Air, Los Angeles
A first-time family in Bel Air, Los Angeles expecting their baby in June 2026 is seeking an experienced and confident Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to provide overnight support during the first month postpartum. This role is ideal for a calm, knowledgeable professional who can guide new parents through the early newborn phase while ensuring the baby receives attentive overnight care.
The family is looking for a seasoned newborn specialist who can help establish healthy sleep foundations, monitor feeding patterns, and offer hands-on guidance and education so the parents feel confident and supported as they adjust to life with their newborn.
Key Responsibilities

Provide full overnight newborn care

Support feeding routines (breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding)

Monitor and track sleep and feeding patterns

Handle diapering, soothing, and settling the baby throughout the night

Support the development of healthy sleep habits and routines

Maintain a detailed nightly log of sleep, feeding, and diaper changes

Wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts as needed

Keep the nursery organized and tidy in relation to baby care

Offer guidance and education for first-time parents during the newborn stage
Requirements

Proven experience working as a Newborn Care Specialist with newborns

Strong knowledge of infant sleep, feeding, and newborn development

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: 5 nights per week

Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
