A French-speaking family based in Zug, Switzerland is seeking a live-in nanny to care for their newborn. They are specifically looking for an English-speaking candidate who can provide attentive, high-quality infant care while naturally introducing the English language from an early age. This is a long-term opportunity suited to someone experienced with newborns, calm in their approach, and confident in establishing healthy routines from the start.
The role focuses on all aspects of newborn care, including feeding, sleep routines, and supporting early developmental milestones. Responsibilities also include preparing the baby’s food as they grow, managing the baby’s laundry, and keeping all nursery areas, toys, and belongings clean and well organised. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is important, along with the ability to work independently and adapt as the baby’s needs evolve. Occasional travel with the family will be required.
This is a live-in position offering accommodation within the family home. Candidates must hold an EU or Swiss passport with the right to work in Switzerland. The role is set to begin in the summer.
