Family in Staten Island, NY is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Live-In Nanny to join their household. They have 5 children – ages 11, 9, 8, 6 and 3. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. They are a self-starter, helpful without being asked, and happy to be part of a collaborative household. A flexible mindset, warm demeanor, and clear communication are key. This role is best suited for someone looking to make a long-term commitment and become an integral part of the family.
Duties include:
- Provide attentive childcare,
- Engage the children with creative, energetic play and structured activities
- Assist with after-school routines: snack, playtime, dinner, baths, and bedtime
- Light housekeeping related to children: toy pickup, tidying play areas, loading/unloading dishwasher
- Prepare simple meals for the children and assist with family meal prep
- Family laundry (no ironing or dry cleaning)
- Travel with family occasionally to Naples, Florida
Schedule: Monday–Friday ( 7:30AM – 8:30PM with a long break during the day) 4 hrs on saturday
Salary: $30 – $35/hr
