Istanbul, Turkey + Lisbon, Portugal during school holidays + Bodrum beach house 6 weeks in the summer
Lovely sociable & fun family are looking for an English speaking, dynamic, energetic and easy going Nanny to join their household. The family have two children, a 4 year old boy and 7 year old girl, and employ a long standing team to assist them with daily running of the household , including a lovely nanny who has been with them since their eldest daughter was born – the nanny will be staying on in the role, but take more of a caring /background position, whilst the new nanny will offer focus on development, encourage learning and education , take the children to fun outdoorsy activities, as well as offer the mum a second pair of hands in running errands, liaising with the school etc. This is not a tutor/governess role (the children attend school & nursery and have and English tutor 2x per week) but will include an element of developmental and educational activities. The nanny must speak excellent & clear English to further the children’s language development. Portuguese as an added language would be a huge bonus for the role as the family have a second home in Lisbon and spend most of school holidays there, but this is not essential. There is a small dog in the house (14 year old chihuahua ) and bigger dogs on the compound, so the nanny must be pet friendly. Start is flexible, ideally January/early February.

Able to advise on healthy nutrition and cook healthy meals for the children
Baking with the children
Speaking English to the children
Encourage learning and education
Outdoors activities, games, play dates, taking to activities, school runs (with a driver)
Travelling with the family during school holidays (Lisbon mostly + Bodrum for 6 weeks in the summer)
Working alongside another nanny who has been with the family for 6 years but taking the lead on activities, education and English, for the children, possibly child related duties (children’s laundry, tidying up children’s belongings) , running family errands, None but family have a small dog + dogs in the compound (must be dog friendly)
5 or 6 days per week (to be discussed with the right candidate) approx 10 hours per day/60 hours per week average (to be discussed)
Accommodation: private guest house separate from main family home (same compound)
GBP 800-900 per week (5dpw) , up to £1200 per week (6dpw)
