A UHNW family in Palm Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced and dynamic Private Educator / Tutor to support the academic development of their two elementary-aged children, who are highly engaged in competitive athletics. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working with high-achieving students and can provide individualized academic support while adapting lessons around a busy schedule of sports, travel, and extracurricular commitments. The Private Educator will collaborate closely with the family to provide supplemental education, tutoring, and academic enrichment that complements the children’s school curriculum.
Responsibilities include reinforcing school concepts, assisting with homework and projects, and providing enrichment in subjects of interest while helping the children remain organized, confident, and academically prepared. The ideal candidate brings a thoughtful and engaging teaching style, with the ability to tailor lessons to each child’s strengths, learning style, and goals while maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment. Prior experience in elementary education, classroom teaching, or private tutoring is highly preferred, along with a strong understanding of how to support young students in a structured yet engaging way.
The schedule follows a flexible 7-days-on / 7-days-off rotation, with most working hours occurring after school during the week, along with occasional longer days and weekend support depending on the children’s athletic commitments. During school holidays, travel periods, and summer months, the schedule may shift. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel with the family when needed. Salary is $100,000–$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus full benefits.
