ROTA Nanny / Governess in Washoe Valley, Nevada

A family of five, in Northern Nevada, needs to hire a full time ROTA nanny to help care for their three children, a toddler and two school aged children.  You will be in charge of managing the kids schedules, getting them up and ready for the day, handling school drop-offs/pick-ups (family vehicle provided), making meals/snacks (+ school lunches), preparing them for travel, assisting with homework, and getting them ready for bed each evening, and being in charge of the baby monitor (for their toddler) overnight. Additional duties will include running errands, grocery shopping, meal prep + cooking for the family, dishes, tidying up the kitchen at the end of the day and light housekeeping. Applicants with a background in education and/ or related degrees would be strongly preferred. All candidates must be up to date with all vaccines including the covid vaccine, have a valid driver’s license and passport, and be able to swim. Must be CPR certified or willing to get certified. The nanny must be comfortable caring for all three children, typically working alongside another caretaker. They must be a good team player as they will be joining a team consisting of another two full-time nannies. Must lead independently but also work well with Mom and be a good communicator. This is not a fly in/fly out position. Family will cover costs to relocate, and assist with relocation, however the Nanny must then reside in Nevada. Typical schedule will be 7 days on, 7 days off  with some flexibility for additional days particularly when travelling with the family. The position is live-out (Nanny should have their own residence outside of the family’s home), but the Nanny will often be living in during their shift.  Salary range $110-$150k depending on experience plus benefits.
