An exciting opportunity has come up with a high profile family based in South East London for a rota nanny to join them to care for their two children.
The position is mainly sole charge but there will be times when both mum and dad will be around so you will need to be comfortable working in a home with parents being around on occasions. The oldest child attends full time school so during the main part of the day you will mainly be focusing on the youngest child. The suitable candidate must be flexible and happy to travel with the family during school holidays as well as short trips.
General duties:
- All daily nanny duties for both children
- Getting the children dressed/ready in the morning and giving them breakfast
- Playing with the children, taking them to activities and going to the park
- Arts and crafts
- The family have a chef but making sure the children have lunch and dinner
- Supporting oldest with homework
- Admin related to the child and family – running errands, keeping on top of school newsletters, buying presents for birthdays etc
- Organising and attending playdates
- Undertaking housekeeping duties in relation to the children
- Travelling with the family
- Babysitting when required – pre-organised
Candidate requirements:
- Someone who is experienced working with similar ages
- The suitable candidate must be confident and used to being around high profile people, flexible, organised and have initiative
- Driving licence required – car provided for work purposes
- Confident swimming
1 week on/1 week off – Monday to Sunday – 7:30am to 6:30pm
£60,000 – £75,000 gross per year
