A family based in Wellesley is seeking a loving, organised, and proactive full-time nanny to care for their two children aged 4 years and 1 year, starting May 2026. This role is ideal for a nurturing professional who enjoys supporting busy families, creating a structured and positive home environment, and building a long-term working relationship. The eldest child attends school during the day, so the nanny will manage morning routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, and provide full-day care for the 1-year-old while ensuring both children enjoy engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
Responsibilities include attentive childcare, planning creative activities such as arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading, and outdoor outings, supporting developmental milestones and social skills, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, and maintaining consistent daily routines. Additional duties include children’s laundry, light household tidying and organisation, running occasional errands, managing seasonal clothing rotation for the children, and keeping play areas and children’s belongings organised.
The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, proactive, and highly organised, comfortable balancing childcare and household support while maintaining clear communication with the parents. Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends and openness to potential travel with the family would be appreciated.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–6:00pm (55 guaranteed hours per week).
Compensation: $34–$40 per hour.
