A family in Chiswick, London (W4) is seeking a caring and reliable live-in nanny to support their two children: a girl aged 5 who attends full-time school and a boy aged 3 who is currently at home full-time but will soon begin attending a local nursery for two afternoons per week. This is a long-term position starting at the end of March, ideal for an experienced nanny who enjoys working with preschool and early school-aged children.
Responsibilities include managing the morning routine, school drop-offs and pickups, planning engaging activities for the youngest child, supporting early learning and development, preparing children’s meals, and overseeing bath and bedtime routines. The role also involves all nursery duties, including keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas organised, managing children’s laundry, and ensuring a smooth daily routine. The boy will not start full-time school until September 2027, so confidence in supporting early years milestones and school readiness is important. Mum works from home three days per week, so the nanny should be comfortable working in a shared-care environment while maintaining professional boundaries and initiative.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 6:15pm. Accommodation comprises a double bedroom with a private ensuite shower room, offering comfort and privacy. Salary is £35,000 gross per year.
