A family in West Vancouver, BC is looking for a warm, experienced infant nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby girl. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the baby stage and can provide attentive care while supporting her development through age-appropriate activities, play, and daily routines. The right person will be confident caring for a young infant, enjoy cooking, and have hands-on experience introducing solids and navigating the weaning process as the baby grows.
Responsibilities include:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 3-month-old baby girl.
Follow the baby’s feeding, sleep, and daily routines.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that encourage development and support upcoming milestones.
Observe and communicate changes in the baby’s development, routine, and needs.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the baby as she begins transitioning to solids.
Use previous experience with weaning to support the introduction of new foods in a thoughtful, age-appropriate way.
Handle baby laundry and keep the nursery, clothing, toys, and baby belongings organized.
Take care of child-related housekeeping and keep the baby’s areas clean and tidy.
Accompany the family on occasional travel as needed.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with compensation of up to $40 per hour, depending on experience. The nanny must hold current First Aid and CPR certification and be passport ready, as occasional family travel may be required. The family is looking for a local West Vancouver nanny and is not considering candidates who would need to relocate for the position.
