A private family in Dallas, TX is looking for an experienced, nurturing bilingual nanny to care for their baby. The ideal candidate will have solid infant experience and a genuine understanding of infant development, feeding, sleep, and daily routines. Spanish is preferred, although the family is open to candidates who speak other languages. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys caring for a baby, supporting developmental milestones, and working closely with parents and other household staff.
The family travels extensively, both domestically and internationally, so the nanny must be comfortable traveling and adapting to different environments.
Responsibilities include:
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the infant.
Keep the baby safe and maintain a consistent daily routine.
Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, interaction, books, and activities.
Prepare bottles and eventually introduce age-appropriate meals as the baby grows.
Monitor feeding, sleep, and daily routines and communicate updates to the parents.
Maintain the baby’s nursery, clothing, toys, and belongings in an organized condition.
Pack, organize, and prepare all infant-related items for family travel.
Travel extensively with the family on domestic and international trips.
Help maintain the baby’s routine and comfort while traveling.
Work collaboratively with the parents and other household staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience caring for infants.
Strong knowledge of infant development, milestones, feeding, sleep routines, and age-appropriate activities.
Spanish-speaking preferred; candidates who speak another language are also welcome to apply.
Comfortable traveling extensively, both domestically and internationally.
Local to the Dallas, TX area.
Flexible and able to adapt as the baby’s schedule and needs change.
Discreet and respectful of the family’s privacy.
Able to successfully complete a background check.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 50 hours per week, and compensation is $35–$40 per hour. Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation, paid sick leave, holiday pay, and a health insurance stipend.
