A family in San Francisco, CA is looking for an experienced Norwegian-speaking nanny to care for their baby girl, born in September 2026. The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, and the family is seeking a live-out nanny who is reliable, nurturing, and comfortable providing attentive one-on-one care.
The family spends part of the summer in Europe and would love a nanny who is happy to travel internationally for approximately 4–6 weeks during the summer. Travel will be planned in advance, and the nanny should be comfortable caring for the baby while away from home.
Responsibilities include:
Provide loving, attentive care for the baby throughout the day.
Follow the baby’s feeding, nap, and daily routine.
Support age-appropriate development through play, interaction, books, music, and outings.
Prepare bottles and baby meals as needed.
Handle baby laundry and keep the nursery, play areas, and baby belongings organized.
Keep parents updated on the baby’s schedule, milestones, and daily activities.
Accompany the family on 4–6 weeks of international travel to Europe during the summer.
Help maintain the baby’s routine and comfort while traveling.
The family offers $40–$45 per hour, paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.
