A private family based in Atherton, California, is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking Nanny to care for their 2-year-old daughter. The family is expecting another baby and is looking for a nanny who has strong experience caring for both toddlers and infants. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of early childhood development and be confident supporting developmental milestones, language development and age-appropriate learning. The nanny will create a warm, engaging and nurturing environment for the children while providing attentive, consistent care. A cleaner is employed, so the position is focused primarily on childcare and the children’s needs.
The role is Monday to Friday, approximately 50 hours per week, and can be either live-in or live-out. The nanny should be comfortable travelling internationally and domestically when the family takes trips, as travel will be required from time to time. The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and nurturing, and able to adapt as the household grows from one child to two.
The family is offering $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.
