A busy family based in Jefferson City, Missouri, is seeking an experienced and nurturing Live-In Nanny to help care for their four boys: a 5-year-old, 3-year-old twins, and a young baby. Mum is at home and the family also has an au pair, so they are looking for someone who is a genuine team player and happy to work collaboratively within the household.
The nanny will be responsible for the usual day-to-day nanny duties and should be willing to pitch in with anything child-related, from school and routines to organising the children’s belongings, meals, laundry and general care. A cleaner is employed, so the focus of the role is very much on the children.
Previous baby experience is essential, as the au pair will not be responsible for the baby and the nanny will take the lead with the baby’s care when needed. The ideal candidate will be confident caring for children of different ages, calm and organised, and happy working alongside Mum and the au pair. The family is looking for someone dependable, flexible and hands-on who will become a trusted member of the household. Private accommodation is provided.
The position is 45 hours per week with two consecutive days off, although days off may not always fall on weekends. There is also the possibility of working a 10 days on / 4 days off schedule. Pay is $25–$28 per hour, plus standard benefits.
Candidates must have CPR certification, a valid driver’s licence and be fully vaccinated
