A family in Columbus Circle, New York City, is seeking an experienced and nurturing Spanish-speaking nanny to care for their 1-year-old child. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with toddlers and a genuine understanding of early childhood development.
The nanny will take responsibility for the child’s daily routines and provide warm, attentive care throughout the day. Duties will include planning age-appropriate activities, attending local classes, arranging playdates, and organising outings that encourage learning and social development. The family would like the nanny to support the child’s developmental milestones and provide consistent Spanish language exposure through everyday conversation, play, books, songs, and activities. The role will also include preparing simple and nutritious meals, managing the child’s laundry, and keeping toys, belongings, and child-related areas clean, tidy, and organised.
The nanny should be proactive about creating a stimulating and well-structured routine while remaining attentive to the child’s individual needs and interests. Domestic and international travel will be required from time to time, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling with the family and assisting with packing and unpacking for trips.
Live-in accommodation can be provided if required. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week, with weekends off.

Compensation is $90,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
