First-time parents in Singapore are looking for an experienced live-in nanny to care for their baby and support them as they settle into life with a newborn. The ideal candidate will have strong newborn care experience, a good understanding of infant routines, and solid knowledge of child development and key developmental milestones.
The role is fully focused on childcare, as the family has a fully staffed household and does not require general housekeeping. The nanny will take responsibility for the baby’s daily care, including feeding, changing, bathing, naps, soothing, and age-appropriate interaction. The nanny will also help establish consistent routines and support the baby’s development through simple activities, reading, sensory play, and plenty of attentive one-to-one interaction. The parents would appreciate a nanny who can offer practical advice and reassurance around newborn care while respecting their parenting choices. A night baby nurse will be employed during the first few months, so the nanny must be comfortable working as part of a childcare team and communicating well with the parents and night nurse.
The position is five days per week for eight hours per day and requires an English-speaking nanny who is ready to travel with the family when needed. The role is open to candidates relocating to Singapore, and live-in accommodation will be provided. Visa sponsorship may be available for a suitable overseas candidate, subject to Singapore’s applicable work-pass requirements and the candidate meeting the relevant eligibility criteria.
The salary is US$1,500 net per week.
