A private family in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is looking for an experienced Russian-speaking nanny to care for their newborn. The role will focus on providing attentive one-to-one care, supporting the baby’s daily routines, and helping parents navigate the early stages of development.
Duties will include newborn care, feeding, settling, naps, changing, and age-appropriate activities that support early milestones. The nanny will also provide regular exposure to Russian through everyday conversation, songs, books, and interaction to encourage natural language development from an early age. Light child-related tasks are part of the role, such as washing baby laundry, keeping the nursery organised, and tidying bottles, toys, and other baby items. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, and confident who understands newborn routines and can provide calm, consistent care.
A minimum of five years of childcare experience is required, along with a valid driver’s licence, CPR and First Aid certification, and a non-smoking lifestyle. Candidates must be local to Ann Arbor and eligible to work in the United States.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.
The pay is $30–$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
