A private family in Istanbul, Turkey, is looking for an experienced bilingual nanny to care for their baby and take an active role in supporting their early development. The ideal candidate will have strong professional experience caring for babies and an excellent understanding of infant development and key developmental milestones. The nanny will create an age-appropriate and stimulating daily routine with a good balance of play, activities, reading, communication, and outings.
Language development will be an important part of the role, with the nanny expected to speak fluent English and a second language such as French, Spanish, or Italian with the baby throughout the day. The family would like someone who can introduce language naturally through conversation, books, songs, play, and everyday interactions.
The nanny will also manage the baby’s daily routine, including naps, feeds, changes, and age-appropriate activities, while adapting the day as the baby grows and reaches new milestones. Regular outings and time outdoors will form part of the routine when appropriate, with opportunities for the baby to explore and experience new environments.
This is a live-in position and can be five or six days per week, depending on the candidate and the family’s needs.
