A family in Key Biscayne, FL, is looking for a Spanish-speaking nanny to care for three children between the ages of 3 and 7, all of whom attend school. The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching, education, early childhood development, or a similar field and a genuine interest in supporting the children’s learning outside the classroom. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, with the family hoping to find someone who can use both languages naturally throughout the children’s afternoon routine.
The nanny will collect the children from school and drive them to extracurricular activities, so a valid driver’s licence and confidence driving with children are essential. Afternoons will include homework support, help with school projects, and hands-on activities that encourage learning and development. The family would like the children to have plenty of screen-free time, so the nanny should be comfortable planning creative and engaging activities such as reading, arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and age-appropriate projects. The nanny will also help maintain consistent afternoon and evening routines, prepare healthy meals and snacks, and keep the children’s rooms, play areas, school items, and belongings organised. Some travel with the family will be required, so flexibility is important.
The schedule is Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.
Compensation is $30–$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
