A family in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is looking for a caring and experienced Japanese-speaking nanny to help care for their newborn. Both parents work from home and are looking for part-time support during the week. The nanny will be responsible for the baby’s daily care, including feeding, naps, changing and keeping the baby comfortable and engaged. The role will also include taking the baby for walks to the park and other age-appropriate activities.
Japanese should be spoken naturally throughout the day, giving the baby regular exposure to the language from an early age. The family can be flexible with the schedule and is looking for someone who is comfortable working around parents who are home during the day. Previous newborn experience is important, along with a warm, reliable approach to childcare.
The position is part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week, with flexibility around the hours.
The rate is $35 per hour, with W-2 employment through payroll.
