A bilingual family in Highbury, London N5, is looking for an experienced Italian-speaking nanny to care for their two daughters, aged 4 and 6. The family is seeking someone caring, energetic and reliable who will enjoy creating a fun and nurturing environment for the girls after school. The nanny will collect the children from school and take responsibility for their afternoon routines, making sure they feel settled and well cared for throughout the day. Italian should be spoken with the children on a daily basis, with plenty of opportunities for conversation and natural language development. The role will also include planning age-appropriate activities, taking the girls to the park, attending local activities and organising enjoyable afternoons suited to their interests and ages. The nanny will prepare simple meals and snacks for the children and make sure their spaces are kept tidy. Light household duties related to the children are also part of the role, including tidying up after them and managing their laundry. The ideal candidate will have previous nanny experience, enjoy working with young children and be confident managing two children independently. A warm personality, good initiative and a genuine interest in supporting the children’s development are important to the family. This is a Monday to Friday after-school nanny position, working from 2pm to 7pm. Salary is £23–£25 gross per hour.
