A family based in Madrid, Spain is looking for an experienced bilingual English and Spanish-speaking nanny to help care for their three children, all under the age of four. This is a shared-care position alongside a hands-on mum. The family is looking for a warm, energetic nanny who genuinely enjoys the early years, understands child development, and can create a happy, structured environment where the children can learn, play, and thrive in both English and Spanish.
The role is varied and child-focused, from planning fun, age-appropriate activities and preparing healthy meals to managing nursery duties and school runs. A confident driver is essential, as you’ll be responsible for taking the children to nursery, clubs, and activities using the family’s automatic car. The family is open to both live-in and live-out candidates and is happy to consider relocation applicants who already have the legal right to work in Spain. Occasional travel with the family is also part of the role.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for three children under four years old.
Speak both English and Spanish naturally throughout the day to support bilingual language development.
Carry out all childcare-related and nursery duties.
Prepare fresh, healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
Take the children to nursery, clubs, classes, and other activities.
Drive the family’s automatic vehicle safely and confidently while on duty.
Travel with the family on occasion as required.
Work collaboratively with mum to maintain consistent routines and a happy, well-organised home.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8–10 hours per day.
Salary: Up to €60,000 gross per year, depending on experience and housing arrangements.
