A family on the Upper West Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced part-time after school nanny to help care for their four children, ages 4 to 11. The family already employs an after school nanny, so each nanny will be responsible for no more than two children at a time, allowing for focused, individualized care. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and confident managing busy afternoon routines while creating a positive and engaging environment. Responsibilities include school pick-up, accompanying the children to after-school activities, helping with homework, preparing healthy snacks and simple meals, supervising play, and supporting the evening routine. The family is looking for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with children, encourages independence, and communicates well with parents and the other nanny to ensure the afternoons run smoothly. Previous experience with school-age children and excellent references are highly valued.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with 30 guaranteed hours per week. Compensation: $40 per hour.
