A family in Dallas, Texas is looking for a caring and experienced part-time nanny to care for their 16-month-old toddler. Both parents work from home, so they’re looking for someone who is confident taking the lead with childcare while maintaining open communication throughout the day. This role is ideal for a nanny who genuinely enjoys the toddler stage and understands how to encourage independence, build confidence, and support the early skills that lay the foundation for preschool and beyond. The focus of the role is on helping their toddler learn through play, exploration, and consistent routines. Whether it’s introducing new activities, encouraging language development, or celebrating developmental milestones, the nanny will play an important role in the child’s growth. Child-related household tasks are also part of the position, helping to keep the child’s environment organised and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive care for a 16-month-old toddler.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
Encourage independence, confidence, and school readiness through everyday play and routines.
Support and monitor developmental milestones.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
Complete the child’s laundry and keep clothing organised.
Keep the child’s bedroom, play areas, and other child-related spaces tidy and organised.
Transport the child to classes, activities, and outings as needed.
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekends off.
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
