A busy family in Cole Valley, San Francisco is looking for an experienced ROTA nanny to join their childcare team and help care for their three children, ranging from a newborn to 9 years old. The family always has two nannies on duty, this is a highly collaborative role where teamwork, communication, and flexibility are essential. They are looking for someone who is confident caring for children at different developmental stages and who genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships with the families they work with.
This is a hands-on position for a career nanny who is calm under pressure, proactive, and happy to adapt as the family’s needs change throughout the day. Whether you’re soothing the newborn, helping with school-aged routines, or planning engaging activities, you’ll work closely with your fellow nanny to ensure every child receives attentive, individualised care. The family also travels during school holidays, so the successful candidate should enjoy traveling and be comfortable accompanying them both within the U.S. and internationally when required.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for three children, from a newborn to 9 years old.
Work collaboratively with the second nanny to ensure seamless, high-quality care throughout each rotation.
Support age-appropriate learning, play, and developmental milestones.
Maintain consistent daily routines, including meals, naps, school schedules, and activities.
Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities that encourage learning and creativity.
Help keep the children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organised.
Communicate effectively with parents and the household team to ensure continuity of care.
Travel with the family during school holidays as required.
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Compensation: $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience.
