A family in Encino, CA is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support for their 8-week-old baby, with an immediate start. The family is looking for a knowledgeable, calm, and nurturing professional who is confident caring for a young infant overnight while helping establish healthy sleep habits and allowing the parents to get the rest they need. The ideal candidate has extensive newborn experience, a strong understanding of infant development and safe sleep practices, and is comfortable supporting a combination of breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Responsibilities include all aspects of overnight infant care, including feeding support, diaper changes, soothing, monitoring the baby’s well-being, maintaining a safe sleep environment, and keeping baby-related items clean and organized throughout the night. This is a temporary 10-week assignment beginning as soon as possible. The schedule is three nights per week from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The family is offering $45-$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
