An international family based in Mayfair, London is seeking an experienced Bilingual Rota Nanny to join their childcare team and provide exceptional care for their four children. This is a fantastic opportunity for a native French or Mandarin-speaking nanny who is passionate about child development and enjoys working in a collaborative, fully supported environment. The role involves maintaining the children’s daily routines, supporting their learning and wellbeing, and naturally incorporating either French or Mandarin into everyday interactions to help the children develop and maintain their language skills.
This is a shared-care position, with two nannies always on duty, making teamwork, communication, and flexibility essential. While the two older children attend school during the day, your primary focus will be caring for the baby and toddler, as well as assisting with nursery duties and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play. The family is looking for someone warm, energetic, highly organized, and confident caring for children of different ages.
This position follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota (24/7 while on duty), with accommodation provided during working rotations. The family is also happy to cover flights between rotations for candidates with UK working rights. The role offers a salary of £70,000 gross per annum and is available for a September start.
Requirements:
Native French or Mandarin speaker (essential)
Previous professional experience as a nanny in private households
Experience caring for multiple children of different ages, including babies and toddlers
Previous rota nanny experience is highly desirable
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
