A family in Berkeley, CA is seeking an experienced career nanny to care for their energetic 2-year-old and help welcome a new baby in the coming months. The family is looking for a nurturing, dependable professional with strong infant and toddler experience who enjoys supporting children’s development through engaging, age-appropriate activities and consistent routines. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable adapting to the changing needs of a growing family.
Responsibilities: Provide attentive care for the toddler while supporting the baby’s daily routine after arrival. Plan enriching indoor and outdoor activities, encourage learning through play, prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, and maintain consistent routines. Assist with diapering, feeding, naps, and other infant care duties as needed. Keep the children’s bedrooms, play areas, toys, and belongings clean and organized. Handle children’s laundry and communicate regularly with the parents about schedules, milestones, and daily updates. Support a warm, safe, and positive home environment while working closely with the family.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Flexibility to travel with the family on occasion is required.
Compensation: Up to $45/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
