A family in Hingham, MA is seeking an experienced Nanny / House Manager to support their busy household and care for their three children, ages 4 to 7. Since all three children are in school during the day, the role combines household management with afternoon childcare. The family is looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly while creating a fun and engaging environment for the children. Both parents work from home and value a professional who can work independently, anticipate the family’s needs, and become a trusted long-term member of their household.
Responsibilities: Complete household tasks while the children are at school, including family laundry, running errands, organizing children’s spaces, restocking household essentials, and helping keep the home neat and organized. Pick up the children from school and drive them to activities using the family’s vehicle. Plan active outdoor play, nature-based adventures, and age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and independence. Prepare snacks and simple meals as needed, help maintain the afternoon routine, and ensure the children are safe, happy, and engaged until the parents finish work.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Compensation: $35–40/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Benefits: Two weeks of paid vacation, five paid personal/sick days, and all federal holidays paid.
