A family based in Austin, Texas is seeking an experienced, professional full-time nanny to care for their three school-aged children, aged 3 to 6 years. As all three children attend school, the role focuses on providing attentive after-school care, creating engaging age-appropriate activities, encouraging outdoor play, and offering dependable support throughout the children’s daily routines. The family is looking for someone who is confident, flexible, and enjoys becoming a valued, long-term part of their household.
The nanny will be responsible for driving the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, appointments, and playdates (confident and safe driving is an essential part of the role). Additional duties include preparing simple, healthy meals for the children, assisting with homework, supporting bath and bedtime routines when required, helping the children prepare for family travel, and accompanying the family on trips throughout the year. Occasional overnight care will also be required when both parents are travelling. A full-time housekeeper is employed, so the position is focused entirely on childcare and child-related responsibilities.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Salary is $85,000–$95,000 per year, depending on experience, together with W-2 employment, employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
