A private family is looking for an experienced live-in nanny to join them as soon as possible and support them across their homes in Ascot, Glasgow, and Portugal. The successful candidate will care for a 5-week-old newborn and a 2-year-old in a shared-care role alongside mum. The family is seeking a warm, professional nanny with excellent experience caring for babies and toddlers, who can build a strong bond with the children while working closely with the parents to provide consistent, attentive care.
The nanny will help establish routines for the newborn, encourage the toddler’s learning and development through play and age-appropriate activities, and ensure both children enjoy a happy, stimulating daily routine. Responsibilities include preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, organising outings and activities, keeping the children’s bedrooms, clothing and play areas tidy, and undertaking all nursery duties. The role also involves travelling with the family between their homes, so flexibility and a positive, adaptable approach are essential.
This is a full-time live-in position, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with flexibility when required. The family provides a comfortable private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in each of their homes. Salary is £52,000+ gross per annum, depending on experience.
