A family in Jonesboro, Texas is seeking an experienced Career Nanny to support their growing family. The family currently has three young children, aged 4, 2, and 1, with a new baby on the way. The older children attend preschool, making this an ideal role for a nanny who is confident caring for multiple young children while creating engaging, developmentally appropriate routines for the younger ones at home. The family is looking for a proactive, organised, and nurturing professional who enjoys building long-term relationships and takes pride in providing exceptional childcare.
The role is centred on the children’s care and development, including planning fun and educational activities, supporting developmental milestones, preparing simple, healthy meals, and keeping the children’s routines running smoothly. Child-related duties include children’s laundry, tidying the kitchen after meals, organising the playroom and children’s bedrooms, and maintaining clean and organised child-focused spaces.
The family can provide private on-site accommodation. This is a Monday to Thursday position, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and occasional travel and occasional weekend assistance may be required. Compensation is $30–$33 per hour, with an excellent benefits package.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Career Nanny, ideally caring for multiple young children.
Confident caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and developmental milestones.
Able to create engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities.
Happy to prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Willing to undertake child-related housekeeping, including children’s laundry, organising bedrooms and play areas, and light kitchen tidying.
Flexible to travel occasionally with the family.
Available for occasional weekend assistance when required.
Warm, organised, proactive, and reliable.
Excellent references and legal authorisation to work in the United States.
