A lovely family based in Downtown Miami is seeking an experienced Montessori Nanny to care for their toddler in a full-time, long-term role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny with a genuine passion for the Montessori philosophy and early childhood development. The family is looking for someone who can confidently work independently while creating a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Regular travel with the family will be part of the role.
The successful nanny will take full responsibility for all aspects of childcare, including maintaining consistent daily routines and nap schedules, planning Montessori-inspired activities and structured play, supporting language development, and encouraging key developmental milestones. You will also be responsible for keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas, and belongings organised, ensuring everything is well maintained and ready for daily use.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Montessori Nanny or a strong understanding of the Montessori approach.
Proven experience caring for toddlers in a private household.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and developmental milestones.
Confident planning Montessori-inspired activities and structured, educational play.
Passionate about supporting language development and fostering independence.
Able to work independently and manage daily routines with confidence.
Happy to maintain child-related organisation, including toys, clothing, and play areas.
Flexible and willing to travel regularly with the family.
Reliable, organised, and nurturing with excellent communication skills.
Strong references and legal authorisation to work in the United States.
The position is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 40 guaranteed hours per week.
