A lovely family in Golders Green NW11 is seeking an experienced Part-Time Nanny with an Early Years teaching background to support the educational development of their four-year-old son. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified childcare professional who is passionate about early learning and enjoys making education engaging through play. Working closely alongside the child’s mother, who has created a structured learning schedule, you will help deliver daily lessons while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
The primary focus of the role is to provide structured educational support in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, covering literacy, phonics, mathematics, English, and reasoning through fun, age-appropriate activities. Alongside educational sessions, you will accompany the child to classes, playdates, and activities, prepare simple healthy meals, and help keep the children’s areas organised and tidy. A musical background would be highly desirable, as the family values creativity and enjoys incorporating music into the child’s learning experience.
Requirements:
Qualified teacher or experienced Early Years Educator.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Ideally experienced teaching Reception or Year 1.
Passion for delivering engaging, play-based learning.
Experience supporting early literacy, phonics, mathematics, English, and reasoning.
Confident working collaboratively with parents to follow an established learning plan.
Musical background or ability to incorporate music into learning is highly desirable.
Happy to accompany the child to classes, activities, and playdates.
Willing to prepare simple healthy meals and undertake light child-related housekeeping.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Salary: £40,000+ per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
