A family based in Glen Cove, New York is seeking an experienced Live-In Nanny to support the care of their 2-year-old daughter, with a new baby expected in early September. The family is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and proactive childcare professional who enjoys working with young children through key developmental stages. The ideal candidate will bring a calm, engaging presence to the home and support both children as the family grows.
The role will focus on child development through active play, reading, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Responsibilities also include preparing healthy meals for the children, maintaining consistent routines, and supporting both toddler and newborn care as needed. The nanny will be responsible for all child-related duties such as organising children’s spaces, light tidying, and ensuring a structured and supportive environment.
The position is Monday to Friday, approximately 55 hours per week.
Hourly rate is $25–$28 per hour depending on experience (DOE).
