A private family based in Palm Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced and professional Career Nanny to support the care of their two daughters, ages 2.5 and 4.5, as they prepare to welcome their third child in September. This is a long-term role for a confident, organised, and nurturing nanny who enjoys working in a dynamic household and can support children through multiple stages of development. Beginning in September, both older children will be attending school, allowing the focus to shift toward school routines, transportation, and after-school care, alongside supporting the family as they transition into life with a newborn. A Baby Nurse will also be in place to assist with newborn care.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and comfortable working collaboratively within a team, including the parents and another nanny. Responsibilities include school drop-offs and pickups, transporting children safely to activities and appointments, planning engaging after-school routines, assisting with homework, and supporting bath and bedtime routines. The role also requires flexibility with occasional late evenings, some mornings, and the willingness to travel domestically and internationally with the family. Additional support will be needed when the father is traveling for work, ensuring continuity, structure, and calm within the household.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
40 guaranteed hours per week (with additional flexibility for evenings and some mornings)
Occasional weekend availability required
Domestic and international travel required
Compensation & Benefits:
$35–$45 per hour depending on experience (DOE)
Paid legally through payroll
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Paid PTO, sick days, and holidays
Performance-based cash bonuses
Requirements:
Proven experience as a professional Career Nanny in a private household.
Experience caring for multiple children across different age groups, including toddlers.
Confident supporting families with newborns (baby nurse will also be present).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and confidence transporting children.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage school routines and busy schedules.
Flexible and available for occasional evenings, weekends, and travel.
Comfortable working collaboratively with parents and additional household staff.
Excellent communication skills and a calm, reliable presence.
Eligible to work in the United States.
