A family of four in East Hampton, NY is seeking an experienced summer nanny to provide exceptional care for their newborn and 2-year-old child. The family is open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement and is looking for a nurturing, dependable caregiver with professional experience caring for both infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities include all aspects of childcare, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, getting the children ready for the day, planning fun and age-appropriate activities, supporting healthy routines, maintaining clean and organized play areas, washing and sanitizing toys, handling the children’s laundry, and ensuring all child-related spaces remain tidy and well cared for. The ideal candidate is proactive, engaging, and confident managing the needs of two young children while creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.
For live-in candidates, private accommodations include a bedroom and bathroom. The position begins ASAP and continues through early September. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation starts at $35 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience.
