A professional family based in The Palm, Dubai is seeking an experienced Nanny/Governess to support their two daughters, aged 5 and 7, who attend a British curriculum private school. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for education and child development, who enjoys helping children build confidence, curiosity, and strong learning habits. The family is looking for a warm yet structured professional who can provide meaningful educational support while creating a positive and engaging environment outside of school hours.
Working within a fully staffed household, your sole focus will be the children’s care, education, routines, and overall development. There are no housekeeping or household management responsibilities, allowing you to concentrate entirely on supporting the girls academically and personally. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of either the British or American curriculum and be confident helping with homework, encouraging independent learning, and organizing enriching activities that extend beyond the classroom. Flexibility to travel with the family during school holidays is essential.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily routines and wellbeing of two girls aged 5 and 7
Provide homework support and reinforce classroom learning
Support educational development through engaging, age-appropriate activities
Encourage strong study habits, independence, and confidence
Organize educational outings, cultural experiences, and enriching activities
Create learning opportunities that foster curiosity and creativity
Maintain structured routines and help manage school-related schedules
Communicate with parents regarding academic progress and developmental milestones
Support social, emotional, and personal development
Travel with the family during school holidays when required
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Nanny, Governess, Teacher, or Private Educator
Strong understanding of the British or American private school curriculum
Experience working with children of a similar age group
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for education and child development
Professional, proactive, and able to work independently
Experience working within private households is advantageous
Must already be based in Dubai
Must have valid UAE working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
Available to travel during school holidays
