Working paretns in Mar Vista, California are seeking a reliable and experienced part-time nanny to care for their two children, aged 5 and 8, during the after-school hours. The role includes school pick-ups, supervising the children throughout the afternoon, ensuring homework is completed, and keeping them engaged with age-appropriate activities until the parents return home. The nanny will also be responsible for driving the children to and from extracurricular activities, helping to keep their bedrooms and personal spaces tidy, and preparing simple, healthy meals or snacks as needed. The ideal candidate will be organised, energetic, and confident managing school-aged children while providing a warm and supportive environment that balances structure with fun. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with occasional evening babysitting available and paid in addition to regular hours. A driver with their own car is required, and mileage will be reimbursed. The position offers $35 per hour.
