A lovely family based in Melbourne is seeking a professional and experienced nanny to care for their three children, aged 6, 4, and 2 years old. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines both sole-charge and shared-care responsibilities, making it ideal for a nanny who enjoys working closely with parents while also confidently taking the lead when needed. The position involves supporting the children’s daily routines, encouraging their learning and development, and helping them make the most of their busy schedules filled with school, stage school, swimming, and other extracurricular activities.
The family is looking for someone warm, organised, and proactive who genuinely enjoys working with children of different ages. Beyond childcare, the nanny will help ensure that the children’s day-to-day needs are met and that family life runs smoothly. There is also the opportunity to travel with the family, making this an exciting role for someone who enjoys variety and building long-term relationships with the families they support. Accommodation can be provided if desired, with a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom available.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive care for three children aged 6, 4, and 2 years
Supporting daily routines, school schedules, and developmental milestones
Assisting with learning, educational activities, and age-appropriate play
Transporting children to and from school, stage school, swimming lessons, and extracurricular activities
Planning engaging activities, outings, and opportunities for exploration and learning
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Organising school bags, activity bags, and children’s belongings
Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and common child-related spaces tidy and organised
Managing nursery duties and child-related household tasks
Accompanying the family on trips and travel when required
Working collaboratively with parents and adapting between sole-charge and shared-care arrangements
Requirements:
Previous professional nanny experience with multiple children
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Clearance
Current First Aid certification
Valid driver’s licence
Confident driver (vehicle provided during working hours)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8–10 hours per day
Compensation: $35 per hour
Accommodation: Private bedroom with ensuite bathroom available
