A private family based in Canary Wharf is seeking an experienced, caring, and fluent French-speaking live-in nanny to care for their 1-year-old child on a full-time basis. The role will focus on providing attentive and nurturing care while supporting the child’s development through age-appropriate activities, play, and daily routines. The family is keen to foster a bilingual environment, so the successful candidate should be confident communicating with the child in French and incorporating the language naturally throughout the day. Responsibilities will include all standard nursery duties, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child, maintaining routines, planning stimulating developmental activities, organising outings, and ensuring the child’s bedroom, toys, and belongings remain tidy and well organised. The ideal nanny will be warm, proactive, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development, with previous experience caring for toddlers in a private household setting. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Salary starts at £45,000 gross per year and is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
