A private family in Miami Beach is looking for an experienced nanny / house manager to support their two daughters, aged 11 and 7. This is a full-time position combining after-school childcare with household management during school hours. The family is hoping to find someone organised, reliable, and comfortable balancing both childcare and day-to-day household coordination in a busy but friendly home.
The role is very much about keeping family life running smoothly, supporting the children in the afternoons while also taking ownership of household tasks during the school day. From school pick-ups and activity drop-offs to managing errands and vendors, the ideal candidate is someone who naturally stays one step ahead, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in keeping things organised and efficient.
Responsibilities:
School pick-ups and safe transportation to activities, sports practices, and appointments
Helping with homework, reading, and after-school routines
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Driving the children to activities (family car provided when on duty)
Planning and supporting a structured, calm after-school schedule
Grocery shopping and managing household supplies and inventories
Running errands to support the smooth running of the household
Overseeing maintenance, repairs, and service appointments
Managing and coordinating vendors and service providers
Keeping household systems organised and running efficiently
Light organisation and tidying related to children and family spaces
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $35/hour
