A VIP family based in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Western nanny / governess to join their fully staffed household and provide dedicated care for their two children, aged 2 and 4. Each child has their own nanny, and this role is focused on educational development, structure, and supporting early learning in a well-organised, high-standard environment. The family is looking for someone with a strong background in early childhood education who can contribute to the children’s development through purposeful, engaging, and age-appropriate learning.

This is an educationally focused position where the governess will be responsible for supporting developmental milestones, maintaining consistent routines, and planning structured, play-based learning activities. The role also includes teaching manners and etiquette, supporting social development, and escorting the children to school, activities, and playdates. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fully staffed household and comfortable collaborating with other nannies while maintaining a professional, child-focused approach. Extensive international travel is required, so a travel-ready passport is essential.

The position is live-in, with private accommodation provided, and includes visa sponsorship. The working schedule is 6 days per week, and the salary ranges from AED 20,000–25,000 per month, tax-free, depending on experience. This is a long-term opportunity for a polished, educated, and proactive childcare professional looking to work within a high-profile international family environment.

Requirements:

Western-trained nanny / governess with relevant childcare or early years education experience
Strong background in early childhood development and educational support
Experience working in VIP or fully staffed households preferred
Confident planning structured, play-based learning and developmental activities
Ability to teach manners, etiquette, and age-appropriate social skills
Experience accompanying children to school, activities, and playdates
Comfortable working collaboratively with other household staff
Extensive travel experience and fully travel-ready passport
Professional, discreet, and highly organised approach
Willingness to work 6 days per week in a live-in role
Visa sponsorship required and provided
