A family in Magnolia, Seattle is seeking an experienced Montessori Nanny to care for their two children aged 5 and 2. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable and organised childcare professional who is confident implementing Montessori-inspired principles in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, calm, and attentive, with a strong understanding of child-led learning, independence, and development. The home is fully staffed, so the nanny will focus primarily on the children’s care, routines, and developmental support.
Responsibilities include full responsibility for the children, implementing Montessori-based systems and activities, and creating a structured, engaging environment that encourages independence and curiosity. The nanny will prepare simple, healthy meals, maintain the children’s areas and organisation, and handle light child-related laundry. A thoughtful and consistent approach to routines, learning, and behaviour is key in this role.
This is a full-time, live-out position, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. Relocation assistance can be offered for the right candidate. The position offers a competitive salary of $120,000–$150,000 depending on experience.
