We are seeking a professional nanny in Glenarden, MD to care for one toddler. This role is perfect for a high-energy caregiver who can keep up with an active child while creating a safe, engaging space that supports growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and a genuine passion for fostering learning through play, helping the child reach key milestones through structured yet playful interactions.
Responsibilities include:
Providing age-appropriate educational stimulation, including reading, sensory play, and outdoor activities
Supporting and monitoring developmental milestones through engaging, play-based learning
Maintaining a clean and organized nursery, play area, and family room
Handling all child-related laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away
Assisting with light household tasks related to the child (tidying kitchen, loading dishwasher, maintaining common areas)
Preparing healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals for the toddler
Assisting with occasional meal prep for the family
Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for daily activities
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Compensation: $30 per hour
