A private family in Baar, Switzerland is seeking a highly qualified Norland Nanny to provide expert care and guidance for their newborn baby, starting May 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and educated nanny who specializes in newborn care, early development, and establishing healthy routines. The family is looking for a calm, knowledgeable professional who can support them during the early stages of parenthood while ensuring the baby’s daily care, wellbeing, and developmental progress are carefully managed.
Responsibilities include providing attentive daily care for the newborn, such as feeding, settling, supervising sleep routines, and assisting with the establishment of healthy sleep and feeding patterns as the baby grows. The nanny will also manage nappy changes, bathing, and overall hygiene, while monitoring the baby’s wellbeing and developmental milestones. Additional duties include preparing bottles, sterilising feeding equipment, maintaining a clean and well-organised nursery, managing nursery supplies, and handling the baby’s laundry and wardrobe organisation. The role also involves supporting age-appropriate developmental activities, taking the baby for walks and fresh air, and occasionally accompanying parents to appointments when helpful.
This is a live-in nanny position, working Monday to Friday, approximately 42 hours per week. The family offers 78,000 Swiss Francs per year, along with comfortable live-in accommodation.
