A family in Camarillo expecting their baby in August 2026 is seeking an experienced postpartum doula to provide supportive, nurturing care during the early months after birth. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about postpartum recovery and newborn care, helping create a calm, organised home environment while supporting the family’s transition into life with a newborn. Responsibilities include preparing healthy, nourishing meals focused on postpartum recovery, maintaining a tidy and functional home environment, and providing reliable newborn care during a protected midday window so the mother can rest uninterrupted. The doula should also be confident caring for the newborn independently for short periods, assisting with light baby-related tasks such as bottle washing, baby laundry, and organising baby items, while offering compassionate guidance and practical postpartum support to the family. Contract: 2–3 months starting in August 2026. Schedule: 5 days per week, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM. Compensation: $35–$60 per hour.
