A family in Barton Creek, Austin, Texas is seeking a full-time nanny to help care for their three children under the age of three. This role is ideal for an experienced, confident nanny who is comfortable caring for newborns through preschool-age children and enjoys working collaboratively with a stay-at-home mother. The family is looking for a warm, proactive professional who can provide attentive care while supporting early childhood development in a nurturing and organised environment.
Responsibilities include providing all aspects of daily childcare such as dressing, diapering, feeding, preparing bottles and children’s meals, and managing nap routines. The nanny will plan and lead age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to support key developmental milestones, including tummy time, reading, music, walks, playtime, games, park outings, and other engaging activities that promote learning and exploration. Creating a structured yet fun daily routine that supports healthy growth and development is an important part of the role.
Additional duties include keeping children’s areas and common spaces tidy, wiping counters, loading and unloading the dishwasher, sterilising bottles, managing children’s laundry, regularly organising toys, and ensuring baby and childcare supplies remain stocked.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and pay is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
