Highly Experienced Postpartum Doula – Atlanta, GA
A first-time mother in Atlanta, GA is seeking a highly experienced Postpartum Doula to provide expert daytime support following the birth of her newborn in July 2026.
The Postpartum Doula will provide hands-on guidance, emotional reassurance, and education for both mother and baby, supporting maternal recovery and confidence during the critical early postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities
Postpartum & Maternal Support
Provide emotional reassurance and guidance to a first-time mother
Support maternal recovery, rest, and wellbeing during early postpartum
Educate and guide the mother on newborn care, routines, and feeding
Newborn Care & Education
Offer hands-on newborn care education, including feeding, settling, and diapering techniques
Advise on sleep strategies and early developmental routines
Assist in establishing healthy bonding practices and confidence in caring for the newborn
Household Collaboration & Professionalism
Work discreetly and professionally within a UHNW household
Collaborate with existing household staff and parents to ensure seamless care
Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and respect for the family’s privacy at all times
Start Date: July 2026
Duration: 4–6 weeks postpartum
Schedule: 2 days per week, 4–5 hours per day
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Postpartum Doula supporting UHNW families exclusively preferred
Deep understanding of maternal recovery, newborn care, and early parenting support
Polished, discreet, and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide high-level, customized care to meet the family’s specific preferences
