A welcoming family in Spotsylvania, Virginia is seeking a reliable, nurturing, and professional full-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old and 4-year-old children. This role involves both hands-on childcare and child-focused household responsibilities, providing a well-rounded and structured environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Development
Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 and 4
Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote growth, learning, and social-emotional development
Coordinate playdates, outings, and educational activities
Child-Related Household Tasks
Prepare meals and snacks for children
Maintain clean and organized children’s areas and play spaces
Assist with children’s laundry and tidying
Occasionally run errands related to children’s needs
Support daily routines including dressing, naps, and meals
Family Collaboration
Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns
Work as a proactive, dependable, and flexible team member within the household
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a nanny or in early childhood care
Energetic, patient, and organized
Knowledge of age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers
Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
Valid driver’s license preferred (for occasional errands and activities)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $35/hour
